New cross laminated timber business line opens new markets!

Thanks to the extensive use of cross laminated timber (CLT) materials in construction industry and its excellent logistic capacities, Skonto Prefab has managed to implement projects in new overseas markets. We are proud to say that during this year Skonto Prefab delivered CLT products to new countries like Italy, Canada, Indonesia, Austria and Belgium and that is only a start.
We have also updated project section with new ongoing and completed CLT and prefabricated concrete projects. Take a look at our new large scale projects West Side Solna, KV. Baltic and first large prefabricated concrete – CLT project Botanikern where Skonto Prefab just started assembly works.
West Side Solna residential building will have 252 apartments in 8 stories ranging from studios to four room and kitchen units.
Project KV. Baltic consist of 6 residential buildings with total area more than 75 000 square meters including kindergarten and up to 350 living apartments. Each house has a different external facade and highest building consist of 14 floors.
Botanikern is specially designed a three-storey functional residential building with nine floors. Two bottom floors of the building are made from prefabricated concrete elements, but all upper 7 floors are made from cross laminated elements.It will consist from 133 apartments with private balcony or terrace.
