To achieve targeted investments and expanding the company's operations in foreign markets, BALTIJAS BETONS has changed its name to SKONTO PREFAB.
The new name of the company confirming the ownership of the largest Latvian construction company SKONTO BŪVE owner Guntis Rāvis construction and building materials group.
BALTIJAS BETONS was founded in 2002, by five Latvian construction companies and the company is engaged in the construction of the prefabricated concrete manufacture, design, supply and installation.
Therefore, transfer of 2010, when the BALTIJAS BETONS became sole owner Guntis Rāvis established GRF group company, the company invested 2.5 million euros for targeted focus on overseas markets and export.
Over the past two years, the company successfully expanded its business in the Scandinavian countries, and currently 95% of its production is exported to Norway and Sweden.

St.Goran Hospital in Stockholm, Malmö Klyvaren Residential Quarter and Norvasund School in Alesund, Norway are some of our recent projects.
We have just started to work on the biggest ever project - construction of a residential block at the center of Norrkoping, Sweden.
Most of 2013 has already been contracted and carried out orders. We are planning that next year sales will reach increase of at least 30%."
It is expected that this year SKONTO PREFAB sales will be 9 million Euros, which is almost doubled, compared with 4.9 million Euros turnover in 2011. While the number of employees has also doubled this year.
Company name and brand change for customers and partners will not result in any additional action. All contracts and agreements made by the BALTIJAS BETONS is valid. Company registration number, address, bank account numbers, company executive and other details will remain so far.
